About him
I suppose one does have to write something here , what I'm not sure , I'm not doing a job application am I ? Although I suppose it is in a way , sell one's self in at least 20 words..... Really it's all down to chemistry, or is it alchemy ? Someone with whom to shine or share the universal elixir of love ( if that doesn't sound to sickly... no you're right it does, in fact it sounds awful, I really should edit this bilge) So why indeed should people get to know me ? Most people have enough friends, it's just we all want a special friend. Although that sounds a bit odd doesn't it. Actually we all want a lover, someone who we can just look at and think " I love you ". Well at least that's the way it is in the songs,books, and films, and it's true. Anyway back to me. Able to mix in most environments other than golf clubs. My dancings ok as long as it's not formal and doesn't involve lurex, diamante, or ballrooms. Love all styles of music from the Russian romantics to sad girl singer songwriters ,and some men as well. Love films particularly French although most European ones will do, old English ones, and Scandi Noir as it is now known, Radio 4 and rugby. Sadly also a sucker for almost all Richard Curtis films. Love being by the coast when possible, sailing when one can, exploring the backstreets of foreign cities, wandering around bookshops and galleries, walking country lanes and fields, the summer, and most importantly having someone special to wrap ones arms around, there being almost nothing better than sharing a moment and throwing your arms around someone. Hopefully it will be for romantic reasons and not just to save them from danger. Although obviously pleased to do that of course. Now greying but not through anything too dangerous, just life and age sadly. Where did it go and why did no one tell us it was going quite so quickly.

I honestly have no idea really, other than hoping we share some interests. Preferably not Morris dancing or cake making. If you're very beautiful it will help, as one of us should be, just to stop small children shouting and running away from me, their parents shielding their eyes. It doesn't happen often now, and it just shows how society has moved on from my early days in the circus. A sense of humour and a sense of the ridiculous is obviously essential. You will be strong, and independent, just missing sharing life's highs and lows. Oh and most importantly, you must have good eyes. Not because I haven't and I need a reader or guide, just eyes that sparkle, ideally with a glint. Obviously ideally matching ones as well, not just one glinting eye. Although you could wear a patch of course, a pirate look is not unappealing, just leave the parrot at home. Psittacosis is apparently not pleasant, although on the plus side now readily treated with antibiotics. And of course you will also have that certain something that will just stop me in my tracks, slightly breathless and nonplussed, and no not in the manner of someone who has just run up stairs and forgotten what they came up for. Dog owners are fine but not really cats. One might be ok as long as it wears a bell to protect local birdlife. Although I realise this might restrict the cats entertainment to deaf mice. Still, a small price for love. So there you have it, or not, however you decide.
