About her
I am very lucky to have reached a time of life where I am comfortable financially and enjoy my day to day existence. I do occasional work but primarily I'm retired. The opportunity to travel is so exciting - I walked some of the Camino de Santiago last year and had a fabulous holiday in Sri Lanka. This year, I'm booked to go to Vietnam and Spain again but there are many more places on my travel list.
I have been single for a good few years but have many great friends and family.
Food is my passion. I love cooking and eating! I'm fairly active and always happy doing outdoor activities, especially hiking. I love all sorts of music and play the piano very badly.
I have tried internet dating in the past with very mixed results, but, New Year and all that, perhaps it's time to give it another go?

I'm looking for someone I can have an intelligent conversation with on the one hand and who gets my slightly immature zest for life on the other hand! Good manners are very important to me. There is never justification for being rude or unkind in this life.
My ideal partner would probably have a bit more get up and go than the average. He would have a keen interest and curiosity about the world. Someone who is up for new experiences and likes to travel but also appreciates the beautiful part of the world we live in.
