About him
Just looking to ‘click’
I’m a 63 year old, 5’11”, 12st 12lbs guy who looks exactly like the guy in the pics (and I guess if you like ‘him’, you’ll read on).
I’m a semi-retired travel-fashion-Arts-writer who 10 years back had an accident, spent 5 years in a wheelchair, recovered, and now walks, cycles and enjoys travel.
Conversationally? Well, I can’t always promise the thread will segue nimbly from A-to-B-to-C but it’ll be easy, effortless and fun.
My pics are presented in this order: ones from 2005-2015 include a ‘suit-on-a-diving board’, helicoptered into the Yukon, the Matterhorn (with cocky git blocking view) and wearing a ‘tank top’ in blistering Petra (as you do…).
Next up is the jet-set go-getting portrait of a man in a wheelchair (somewhere at about zero thousand feet in the courtyard of Blenheim Palace) which I think neatly illustrates 2015-2021.
And following that, the present day of 2022 onwards, including my profile shot snapped today, Monday Jan 26th (in M&S to be precise).
Now, as to who I’m looking for… well, actually that’s easy!!!!
Someone who doesn’t claim -
* to have swum the Pacific
* crewed on the International Space Station
* skydived over Machu Picchu
* macheted through the heart of the Amazonian rainforest
* or spotted Elvis on the number 8 to Headington
NB. An easy laugh, a gentle smile and a flicker of the eyes does it for me…
And if you enjoy movies, music, books, theatre, food, drink, Christmas Eve, conversation, the trivial ‘excitement’ of the every day and the utter contentment a grin flashed across a busy room can evoke, I reckon we’ll be 90 per cent there!
Consequently, should any of the above trigger a ‘click’ (and at our age let’s be honest, that might come from a replacement hip) it’d be nice to hear from you!
