I'm a retired engineer that loves the outdoors... Widowed for nearly 3 years after a 42 year marriage & was never blessed with children.

I love walking with my Chocolate Lab Toby who's getting on a bit now but still very fit. We walk every day, either in the local park or woods for at least an hour each walk
I love everything about nature, wildlife, plants etc & my gardens
I'm not a great reader of fiction or biographies as I've always been too busy but give me a good encyclopaedia & I'm hooked (Sad Eh?)
DIY fanatic & on my 6th house
I love oldie world pubs (Not many left now) and dining out in Chinese or Italian restaurants.
Not really a Cinema or Theatre goer as I'm 6ft 3 ins & can never find a seat with enough legroom
I love old movies, especially Old corny Sci-Fi ones

I'm not a lover of tattoo covered ladies but don't mind discrete ones.
Not as fit as I used to be being 67, so won't be running any marathons after I fell from a ladder 10 years ago & damaged my back, 2 operations later & so far so good although I do get the odd twinge...I try to keep as fit as possible walking Toby. Best to be completely honest
I'm no Clint Eastwood but no Uncle Fester & consider myself OK in the looks department but haven't visited 'Specsavers' for a while so might be wrong.
I like to tinker with my lovely 1973 Triumph Stag but I don't spend hours & hours under the bonnet & am looking for someone to come on Summer drives with the top down.
People do say I don't look my age & quite often I've been told I look in my late 40's. Good genes I recon so if you think I might be too old, think again. My Dad passed away at 92 & looked in his 70's
Love 80's music. Tears for Fears, Level 42, Human League, Simply Red etc plus a great Soul Music lover. Also some nice mood music like Enigma
