About her
It’s been a bit of a bumpy ride through life so far, but I’m still in one piece and am looking forward to new adventures with Mr Right (I know you’re out there somewhere).
I have an interesting job which I genuinely enjoy and life is good, but I would love to meet someone to share some fun and adventures with and see what happens.
I have never married, but do have three adult sons. I have lived in both France and Spain (the latter for many years) but came back to the U.K. some twenty odd years ago.
I enjoy doing all the usual stuff like travelling, eating out, walking in the countryside with the dog.
I prefer hot climes to cold, and I love the Mediterranean, but I also enjoy the quintessential Englishness of a rainy day. More of a country girl than city.
It’s hard to be objective when describing yourself, but here goes anyway.
In no particular order, I’m basically kind, patient, honest, funny, loyal and even-tempered. Possibly a little introspective and sensitive. I’m broad-minded, tolerant and caring and try to be thoughtful and generous.
I like to eat well and healthily and look after myself although I’m not particularly sporty. I’m told I look young for my age and definitely feel young on the inside.
I hardly watch T.V, just the odd Scandi-noir series. I’m very interested in politics and what’s going on in the world.

About her ideal match
I don’t have too much of a pre-conceived idea about my ideal match. Looks really are not the most important thing. I think you just know when you meet someone if they’re right for you.
I don’t think I’m looking for someone with necessarily the same interests and personality. It’s good to mix things up and try new things.
I do prize a good sense of humour however, laughter is often the best medicine. I like good old-fashioned manners too!
I would hope to share some core values with my ideal match such as honesty, loyalty and compassion. I believe in a well balanced relationship with a bit of give and take on both sides and lots of mutual respect.
