About her
Professionally, over the past 15 years, I have worked in nature based education, off grid in ancient woodland. I believe in the restorative powers of nature: land & sea. I`m now semi retiring, ready for the next chapter in life which is most likely to include boats!
I came into sailing in 2021 & am RYA qualified to Day Skipper so far, although still a novice sailor. This summer, I crewed for a friend sailing from Dartmouth to the Algarve over 6 incredible weeks. It was life changing. I just love being near or on the sea, although I don't do cruises or `all inclusive` beach type/package holidays. I prefer independent travel as I don't follow the crowd. I'm planning a UK coastal path walk next year over 8 - 10 weeks - a personal challenge. I would also like to do a UK/Europe road trip, explore our inland waterways & the French canals on a narrow boat, plus sailing voyages. What adventure dreams do you have?
I`m one of the good people in life with a strong moral compass. Keen to give before I receive; honest, of happy disposition, loyal, loving & deeply care for my family & friends, as well as the environment in which we all live & share.
I prefer outdoors to indoors, small groups over crowds & old over modern. I love a log fire, live music & visiting beautiful historic places - I`ll always head for `the old town`. I enjoy a country pub. I love to cook - I believe that food is one of life's greatest pleasures to experience & enjoy - much like s*x really!!! I also ride an old BSA occasionally - when I can get it started!
I don't do drama or argue as I don't see the point! I am of calm nature, I love life & live from a place of gratitude every day!
Most of the time I'm dressed casually for the outdoors although I can dress up for any occasion! I`m `All Woman` as a friend said recently (I think that`s a compliment!) & love to embrace my feminine side.
I am independent & self sufficient. I don't need a man to 'complete' my life but I want to share my life - there's a big difference between needing & wanting!
