Calm, patient and a good listener, my interests and pastimes include cinema, current affairs and reading - popular science, biographies, novels. I love visiting the south west - Dorset, Devon, Cornwall. Keep active through cycling, walks, running, and yoga; also volunteer part-time in a plant nursery.
Although I enjoy travelling by train where practical, air travel is becoming increasingly unattractive - both for environmental reasons, and the unpleasantness of the 'airport experience'. Anyway, it’s good to be in the right place sometimes.
