Eternal optimist. Still believes in love and romance. Not "live life to the full", rather "just love living" AND sharing the living. Looking for someone to complement me, not complete me and so will I her. Do not play tennis (badminton?), nor ski, nor sail (swimming?) nor ride. Would like to have another go at learning to ride a bicycle (yes). Love cinema, theatre, words, languages, state of the world, discussions (not dogmatic!), meals in/out, cooking when the fancy takes me, walking, pubs (country/city), good coffee, good TV, learning, music (different genres, languages and countries of origin) classical too. I would spoil the woman in my life with cuddles, hugs, kisses, holding hands. Always expressed my feelings and am very tactile. Empathic, in a good place mentally and happily retired very recently from being self-employed. Sense of humour and like to make laugh + don't take myself seriously. Divorced a loong time ago. Not acrimonious. Have 2 children and 2 grandchildren that I see/play with. Always in touch with both children. Same goes for extended family and friends living in different countries. Family is very important to me. After all this, it all comes down to chemistry. Not a great fan of drawn out email correspondence and/or phone conversation(s). Old fashioned in the sense that meeting up is what decides if there is any chemistry. I am looking to make new memories. Used to wear my heart on my sleeve. Maybe a bit nearer elbow now? Not been put to the test though.

Would like to meet a feminine, affectionate lady, who is happy to be a woman, with a sense of humour, who can and likes to laugh (out loud too), does not take herself seriously, with whom can talk / discuss anything and everything under the sun. Like someone said "to be with a woman who would like to live life 'together' - "to laugh, plan, share, discuss, read, listen, appreciate and have fun with ......". Someone who likes to receive as well as give love and affection. Again, chemistry is the key that unlocks untold riches of the heart. (BTW, I do look and act much younger. Been told this all the time. No bribery involved).
