I am an easy going person. A "wysiwyg" person if you like!
I enjoy the company of good friends, food and entertainment. Treat others as you like to be treated! A tenant I live by! I would walk over hot coals for those I love!
My favourite leisure activity, my passion, has been sailing. Offshore racing in particular was my favourite pastime. My regret is not being able to participate any more.
A qualified Marine Engineer, over a 26 year period I lived and worked in:-
Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia and California with an American yacht-building company.
In Oilfield Services in The United Arab Emirates for 6 years.
From 1989 to 2002, I worked in a residential child care setting, assisting young people who, for a variety of reasons, could no longer remain in the family home; Often heart breaking but tremendously rewarding!
Latterly, in the UK, I owned and managed a commercial sign company. I retired in 2015. I sometimes still get involved in aspects of commercial sign design.
I have a wealth of anecdotal stories.
The internet is a wonderful place for knowlwdge, news and information. I use it on a daily basis for reading, communication etc.
I recently moved to the lovely and peaceful village of Middlezoy in Somerset where I have become involved in the management of community projects!
I enjoy peaceful times in my garden, in front of the TV, listening to music or reading. All I need to make life perfect is a lovely lady with whom to share!
What do I not like? Insincerity and bigotry! Oh, and washing up after cooking🤪!
I believe I have a lot to offer a lady who has not forgotten how to live, let live and love!

My ideal lady is intelligent, has strong beliefs and is not afraid state them! You are feminine, attractive, a giver and receiver, gentle and comfortable in your own skin! Beauty is only skin deep but, it doesn't hurt either.
The only deal breaker I can think of is bigotry: Be it politics, religion, race, gender etc., etc. live and let live! What a boring place this world would be if we were all the same! "Vive la difference"!
When a bit of trust is established, we can walk in the park or the beach, talk and exchange the thoughts we usually don’t share. I shall, if ever needed, offer a shoulder to weep on or cry with laughter! I shall try so very hard to be what is missing in your life🌹.
