Err...for loads of reasons...a quick survey of friends reveals that I'm apparently funny, clever, good-looking, loyal (i.e. we've been hanging out for 20+ years), cultured (???), with good taste and no airs and graces. Good at hanging wallpaper, painting, bottling fruit etc.,but also bright and interested in the arts, so very happy to tag along to this, that and the other, indoors and out...love nature and the great outdoors when it's not brass monkey.
Happy with my life but finding a soul mate would make it even better! Son's now flown the coop, so there a vacancy for love.

Hmm...just re-reading my selections, I should probably start by saying that they're eminently negotiable - like most people on this site I'm just looking for someone to get some personal alchemy going...a bit to specify the base ingredients - I'm probably not very good with someone who's very bossy. A few things I really like are an interest in the arts, conservation, classical music, someone who's clever and kind and good at kissing. And who loves or at least tolerates cats...(Sammy has asked me to put this in, he's just purring on my lap.)
